Hi all,
I want to make a kind of greatest scenes from different movies for a party. I need to grab like 2-3 minute clips from several movies. I know there is software to grab whole scenes, but I just want to be able to grab small sections here and there. An example is the fart scene in blazing saddles. Is there anything out there that will do it? I have used DVDX which does this but only in SVCD fomrat, and I would like to keep the DVD qualtiy.

Have you tried Pinnacle Studio 8 yet? Ifo Edit allows a lot of editing, but i dont think you can do that with it. Here is a user guide you can have a look through and see!

Just thinking, there is a video editing program called Vegas 4.0, semi-pro. Amazing piece of software if you can get it. Costs around $400, but someone might let you use theirs if you know anyone with it.
