SORRY IF THIS IS WRONG THREAD THOUGHT MAYBE SHRINK AND DECRYPTER WOULD SORTTA B IN THE SAME DISCUSSION

ok here it is i was using DVD Decrypter yesterday and i was ripping a movie or actually writing a movie to a DVD+R and my hightest speed that i got out of it was 4.1x and that is the highest i have ever got it at!! i have a NEC let me see if i can remember ND-3510a or something like that but that dusnt matter i can rip dvd+-r's @ 16x i know you are probally thinking that i am only using a 4x disc but en contrare i am using a 8x DVD+R so why am i not getting at least 8x could it be a problem with Decrypter or my drive oh oh and wen i burn with Nero i get 8x i dont know if it is actually burning at that speed but that is what Nero tells me when i am burning so that is what i have to go by. so do i through out DVD Decrypter or my drive ????????? oh and the burn i was doing was a burn with no copy right so why the low speed and also sometimes the speed will go down as little as 0.8x and then go up to 4x i dont know IT"S OFF THE WALL

On the right side in decrypter there is a box to change your speed. Also update your firmware.

how about trying ImgBurn better burning tool then using decrypter, also u probably need a firmware update to be able to burn a 8x.

also what type of media are u using? if not good quality i would suggest not burning at the max speed of the disks but rather half of what the max speed is.

ya i am going to do a firmware update but u am using fujifilm DVD+R disks 8x
