Best Buy is having a sell on some blank media right now and I am looking to buy about a 100 or so discs. Fuji 50-Pack 16x DVD+R Disc Spindle
Model: 25302250 is $15.99 and Memorex 25-Pack 16x DVD-R Disc Spindle
Model: 32025638 is $6.99. If i were to get 100 disc, the prices would be would not be too much of a difference. My question to you all is which one is better?
Can't comment on the Fujis, but please let me be the first to tell you to stay away from the Memorex. That is one of the first things I learned here. They may record OK today, but they won't last.
If those spindles of fuji say made in japan,then take them. If they are made in taiwan,they may end up as:

These are taiwanese Fuji +16x. Not exactly quality stuff.
I got these at a small store. 25 pk for $7.50
I will have to keep the burn speed down to 4x. I haven't burned any,but will test out a few later.
For $15 per 50 pk,I'd get verbatim where ever they were on sale. Best buy,Office Max,and Office depot-usually one of those stores have them on sale every week.
Those verbatim +16x are the best 16x media that I have used.MCC004 is their MID code.

Office Depot 16X +R, made by Ritek, fairly good, look for a sale on them $19.99 for one hundred, Best Buy has Sony 16X on sale thru Sat the 26th for $25.99 again a hundred pack, look for the -R MIJ disks with a white octagonal spacer on top, they are TYG-03 disks and are awesome, the grey spacer MIJ are Sony's own brand and are still good, I don't think that any +R MIJ media will code out as Taiyo Yuden, but could be wrong about this.
