I Softmod My Xbox Now My Dashboard Is Gone...

Ok i softmod my xbox and i ran it through linux on "krayzie tools" as the host i was trying to install "xbmc" and it think i deleted the dashboard or something in that nature i also tryed to restore it through project gothem 2 to update it and a black screen appears so dont think thats going to work and the error code is "21" but i can tell play games so i dont know what to do.

just run the softmod auto installer again and put some noncorrupted ms dash files on your box via FTP.

Ok when it did that on "install ndure softmod" and i clicked on both "nkpatcher.06/67 they both said with evol x and unle x "failure batch process failed the last item was action rename" what it keeps tellin me i also backed up my "eeprom" 2 and it still gives me the same prob i cant go in 2 my dashboard cause it goes to the error screen and i cant go through mech to run linux cause it would take me right back to where i started trying to reinstall it what else could i do.

Hi, I softmodded with Shademand's Ready Made Xbox Softmod.
Does anybody how to boot the xbox with the softmod? I only get the M$ dash. Thanx!

I also have Shademand's Softmod on my xbox. What I did was create the iso file using xboxhdm with the content from the softmod in the C and E folder. First I backed up my original files then I erased the entire C and E folder and copy the new C and E. then restart and it worked perfectly. Well close enough to perfect. I have some problems trying to play some games from my harddrive like NBA live 06. I guess the key is to erase the entire folder that way I can?t boot to the m$ dash. This is my first time here so make sure you do the backup.

well, if you messed up your dash, the best thing to do would be to just start over. Restore your ms dash with the auto installer, or just download a clean ms dash from upload.com or something and get rid of the old ms files. Put in the new ones and everything should be ok.

Thanx for the help dudes! I choose to build a customised iso using ndure. It worked in one try. Even M$ dash and Live works fine. (not that I'm gonna use that crap...) I can recommend ndure to you all good ol' xbox hackin' dudes.

ive installed linux on my xbox using softmod installer deluxe and in the menu xbox dash link is red, all the others are white, now i cant get into my music files (main objective for me installing evo x was so i FTP music to and fro now im buggered
