I'm using a slimline ps2 with swapmagic and i can't get it to play any of my backups. I've been making isofiles with DVD Decrypter and burning them to dynex dvd + R's and only metal slug 4 has worked so far. My friend did the same thing but burned kingdom hearts and that game works fine.

works

kingdom hearts
metal slug 4

Will not work

Shadow of the colossus ( endless load screen )
final fantasy 10 ( black screen )
Gitaroo man ( never gets past koie screen )

What am i doing wrong here?

Change media, those discs seem pretty crappy.

Refer to the 'Best Media' thread in the PS2 DVD Backup Discussion forum to find out what media is recommended & use DVD-R instead.

I just got 100 memorex dvd+R's at a flea market today. Are those any good?
