well, i found no help in the search forum for this,
when i burn an AVI file (movie) to a dvd +r it starts out fine then there is a little pixelation and the audio slowing starts to go out of synch with the picture until its really bad by like 20 seconds or so, i downloaded GSpot and checked the codecs and it says the right ones are installed the AVI file plays fine on my computer windows media player, this only happens with my dvd player after i have burned it with Nero 6. should i burn it with other software? is the problem with my codecs? or the original?
i have this problem with a few avi's that i have burnt to disk and played on my dvix player,i have not had the dvix player long,so i dont know that much about them, but i was told that it may be that the firmware on the dvix player may be out of date (didnt even know you could update firmware on standalones),however, mine is such a el cheapo player, there is no firmware available for it
but that is something you might want to check out
having said that, a couple of movies in AVI format that i played, and the synch was out,i found that fast forwarding them, and rewinding then back seem to correct the synch issues i had
