I overburned 2 cd's using Nero 5.5 and after the 2nd one was done my computer crashed and when i restarted my cd-rw wouldnt read any cd anymore. I tried turning off the computer and leaving it on for a half hour and turning it back on but that didnt solve the problem, i uninstalled Nero and removed its registry entries and removed the drive from device manager and that still didnt fix it after restart. What should I do?
Have uninstalled and re-installed your CD-RW Drive? If so, a windows repair using your original Windows Disc may sort this for you. You should have those problems while overburning CD's, I do it al the time for 99min ones. Does your CD-RW support overburning, or are you forcing it?
