I just recieved a certain movie on 3 VCDs a few days ago which I was told to burn onto a DVD+RW. My father had a DVD+RW, but somehow he had no idea how to use it, so I was forced to figure it out on my own. Eventually I found this guide:

http://www.dvdrhelp.com/svcddvdr.htm

I have been painstakingly following the instructions until now. I finished downloading ULead MovieFactory and had all of the MPEG2's from the VCD in dvd format when I found out that eveything was in PAL. My test DVD didn't work on anything! How can I get these 3 MPEG2's into NTSC DVD format so that it will work on most stand alone American DVD players?

To put VCD onto your DVDR, you'll need to use:

1. VCDGear - convert DAT to MPG
2. TMPGEnc - convert Audio to DVD format
3. SpruceUp - create Menus

That's all you need, good luck!
