I burned SM4 using DVD Shrink and I used DVD43 running in the background. When I try to play it in my dvd rom drive it reads it like a CD and when I open it there are no files. When I tryed to play it in my dvd player it just says it reading disk and nothing happens. Can any one help?

I uses DVD Shrink to rip and DVD Decrypter to burn. It worked fine on Pitch Black and Dark Fury but SM4 and 13 Ghosts didnt work. The last to movies promped me to download some software (I forgot the name I think it started with an "A") but I just cancled and started ripping. Do you think that the software that was on the DVD had something to do with it?

What kind of media r u using?

U can try and rip it with DVD Decrypter first then run it thru shrink

Also there is no special protection on this movie

the best way to burn Memorex media is to throw them into a fire. LOL
Memorex is not good media at all.

this is the best media u can get
Taiyo Yuden(Online)
Verbatims
Sony(MIJ)
Maxell(MIJ)
Fuji(MIJ)
MIJ=made in Japan

but try the decrypter first and see what happens, post back, good or bad
edit
U dont need DVD43 runing while decrypting

Two of the best combo free methods are "DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker" and "RipIt4Me (DVD Decrypter + FixVTS)". I would say that the DVDFAB Decrypter and VobBlanker is a little faster and easier for newbies. However, if you're an advanced user, then it won't hurt to use "RipIt4Me" cause it's definitely another flawless method. Overall, they're both free.

Below are some FREE tools that can rip any dvds (yes.. even new released) flawlessly, regardless if it's RipGuard or ARccOS. The choice is yours, use whatever you're more comfortable with.

<< *FREE* Ripper & Editing tools >>
** DVDFAB Decrypter - one of the best FREE ripper now (takes 12 minutes to rip)
** RipIt4Me - one of the best FREE COMBO/ripper including DVD Decrypter + PSL (12 - 15 minutes to rip)
** VobBlanker - one of the strongest FREE editing tool (2 - 5 minutes to process/fix fake structural, fake cells, dummy vts/pgc, etc. flawlessly, it can "cut, edit, strip and blank" out any scenes/vts/cells or unwanted junks.)
** FixVTS - one of the best FREE junks processing tool (works the same way like VobBlanker, but it "can not" edit or blank out unwanted junks.)
** PgcEdit - a very useful FREE editing tool.

<< *FREE* Transcoding tool >>
** DVD Shrink - (one of the best FREE transcoding engine).

<< *FREE* ISO/Image burning engines from LUK >>
** DVD Decrypter
** ImgBurn
