i burnt it normally and it didnt work then i tried converting it to NTSC and burning it but that didnt work either? any reason why?

You do need a modchip or Swap Magic to boot burnt games you know!
Do you have either of these 'mods'?

Not a valid PS2 disc. i boot it uing NTSC square

Have you tried booting it with CDLoader as an additional swap as well? Some games require this.
What game is it anyway? And is it on CD or DVD?
