Hi I was wondering if anybody could help me by pointing me in the right direction for DVD authoring.

I don't want anything complex just something that will allow to make your own menu's and sub-menu's like "Play Movie" and then another button saying "Chapter Selection" which when pressed will lead to another menu with a chapter list, and so on.

Currently I am using Nero Vision Express but I don't think you can make sub-menu's on it.

Any program that allows me to do what I want (stated above) is appreciated, whether it be freeware, shareware or a professional product, it doesn't matter as long as it gets the job done.

I have tried a few authoring tools which I did not like because of its, not naming any names, copmplicated menu's and button names.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as always.

Kind Regards,
BluRay

PS. I can create normal menu's, thats not an issue, its menu's leading to another menu is want I want to do.

DVDlab Pro can accomplish this i beleive. i've not tried it myself, but it can. It takes some time to learn how to use it proporly, but once you have it has more features than anything else in it's price range (so i've heard).

Yeah DVDLab is very simple. Create the first menu. Then add the movie and create the chapter points. Then go into the menu options and you can choose "create scene selection menu" or a similar term to that (the program is not installed on the PC I am working on now). It automatically creates your chapter menus and points all the buttons to the appropriate places.

However, always check to make sure navigation is how you like it. I believe also Sony DVD Architect does this in a similar fashion, but DVDLab is way less resource heavy and I think easier to work with.
