incompatable RPC Stub.

Hi,

i have recently purchased a Pioneer 105 dvd burner. It was an OEM package hence it came with no software.

I have a copy of PowerDVD and WinDVD and i am unable to install either of them as it gives an error message when i try to install.

"Setup Terminated, Incompatable RPC Stub"

Im at a loss as to what this means, i am assuming its something to do with the region codes as my player is locked onto region 2.

can anyone offer any advise please.
