Hi, I cant FTP to my Xbox (XBMC dash) anymore for some reason even though I havent made any changes to the settings, it still says connection established as well as a load of other stuff about the current version of XBMC Im using but instead of my C: D: and F: drives appearing it just remains blank with the cursor remaining in hourglass mode forever, any idea whats going on? Ive tried multiple versions but its still happening.
This has been going on for a while because I dont often FTP stuff to the Xbox so whenever I needed to I would just stick in an EVOX boot disk and FTP straight to that, however recently I started filling out my emulator collection with big rom packages and when I try to FTP most of them over they fail because the filenames arent FATX compatible. Someone on another forum told me that if you're FTPing to XBMC then XBMC will automatically remove anything that would cause an error, is this true?
If its not can anyone reccomend a fast way of making a large amount of folders and sub-folders FATX compatible? Ive tried Xboxify but it doesnt seem to work, it seems to sort through the roms but it just sits there when I press start, also theres a small program called FATX File Renamer but if it changes 2 or more files in a folder and the changes result in 2 files having the same name then the program crashes without doing the rest of the roms, and with rom packages this basicaly happens in every folder.
Yes...make an XISO with Qwix with all the roms you want and then use Qwix to Upload Xiso To your xbox like you would do a Game,like you would do a Game....
