hey i wanna start fw modding but just some questions. I dont have a sata port on my mobo so i have to buy a pci adapter thing. Is this one okay? http://www.newegg.com/Product/CustratingReview.asp?item=N82E16815...
I have a samsung drive will the drive work with that?
what firmware package shall i use? plz give exact name.
Is there anyway thats i can ruin my xbox permently? beyond repair?

yes, there's a possibility you could ruin your 360. you got to measure risk to reward ratio on your own. that pci card works ok
