Is it possible to copy this new technology to DVD? There are not HD or Blu-ray home burners as far as I know, but can you copy from them to a regular or DL DVDR? Is there any improvement in quality by copying form this format (if copying is even possible).

the answer is no. there is no program that will rip a HD DVD or a blu ray disc the discs are heavly encrypted and if somebody does crack the encryption the studios can change the encryption

And as a 50gb bluray holds 2-4 hrs of 1024p hidef video, u only gunna get 10 min on a dvd
