hi this is my first post to this site but im sure someone can help me i have a ts drive and an athlon 64 prossecor on a sataII mobo but i cant even backup my firmware before i start i type in mtkflash r /m orig.bin and it say no drive detected ive tried satrting the xbox wilst in dos,before dos and at the same time for 2 days now and im gunna throw my xbox out the window plz help me plzzzzzzz!!!! i did read a thread already about this problem but nothing there to help me out

ronnie you are a god i think i flashed it now but i dont have a dvd dl burner yet lol so i burned off 1 of my xbox backups and tried that but no joy it said there was an error with the game is there a special way of burning them to play in my 360 all originals still work xbox and 360

if you flashed and your originals work, that means its most likely your backups that are the problem.

sorry if im being a pain in the arse dude but is there certain disc the xbox 360 will read by disc i mean xbox backup disc ie datawrite red 8x DVD-R or panasonic 16x DVD-R and i got my duel layer drive today thx for all your help so far ronnie its much appreciated m8

is that for normal xbox games aswell? if thats the case then theres no point im not wasteing a £4 disc on a £1 game lol

when you convert xbox games to run on 360 fw hack you need to burn on a verbatim DVD+R DL yes
