Ripping a DVD movie's audio....

Here's what I want to do.
I have a dvd that I really like and want to be able to just listen to the audio of that movie on another medium. I dont care what format, .mp3, .wav whatever. Is something like this possable and could anyone point me the right direction to get this started.

This was just posted!!
After ripping the DVD with SmartRipper or DVD Encrypter in Movie mode, use DVD2AVI which will allow you to choose mp3. You can then demuxe the file which will create the audio file or 'project'

ya your right you get a cookie!
But I cant find any where in the options thats says anything about mp3. I thought this was a place to get help. Now I already feel stupid because I dont know how to do this, but if some how Im wrong and this isn't the place to get help then please just make sure to write a reply that makes me feel even dumber.

I would rip it typically (which would be wav format) and then use lame encoder (free off the net) to encode it to mp3...

If I rip a dvd it will not be a .wav file, it will be a bunch of .VOB files.

once you rip it, then use DVD2AVI to extract the audio... go to http://entiendo.gotnet.net to see how it is done...it will be around a 900mb wav file..
