Halo 2 Map Modding Help

I am trying to mod the halo 2 maps, but for some reason I am unable to get them to load. I am softmodded, and I am using dothalo and h2x to edit. I tried coag, but it went to a black screen... then I tried containment, and it said it "failed to load map" SO, if there is anyone who can help me, I would appreciate it... and I think I have all the programs needed, and I can FTP and all that good stuff. Thanx in advance!
