ok so here we go ive messed up one xbox so far im onto my second this time its not going so bad! i hotswapped it worked fine i opened xplorer360 and copied all the partions to my pc
but here my question
if i mess something up how do i find my eerpom or what ever?
cause ijust know i will at some point
and ive downloaded so many versions of new xbox dasboards but i duno how to add them to the hd well i do but the files dont seem to do anything?
picture of all the files i got with EvoX and trust me its 4am?! ive been going at it 3 hours looking on everysite i can find and non help and im stuck
Okay buddy, I dont know what you are doing with dling different bios's but stop, you dont need them to softmod. If you have successfully hotswapped then what you need to do is dl a program called Shademand's Ready Made Xbox SoftMod , it contains an ISO which you will need to extract the contents of. Next connect to your xbox, then copy everything your jsut extracted from the ISO, replace your ide cable and turn off the xbox, when you restart it you should have a working softmodded xbox.
As for your eeprom problem, you can dl a program called slayers auto installer, and use it to make a backup of your eeprom, then you can FTP to the xbox and copy it to your pc.
