I am having probs with my ps2 booting up some discs. My ps2 will boot up all clear disc games. Tho it will not boot my swap magic discs, codebreaker ,and blue discs. Already cleaned the lens with a q tip no help. It will boot the codebreaker now and then but rare if at all. I remember seeing something around about ajusting the lens but I cant find it now. looked around with the search and found nothign that helped. So if any one can help plz tell me will to try any thing at this point.

You need to re-calibrate the pots underneath the laser, PM me ur email, and i will send you a guide.

Dont matter now i got ot sne dit off for repair laser is bad.

I have a possibly similar problem. Basically I can't boot any burned PS2 games that I used to be able to (except for Chinese bootleg PS2 games from 2002-2003) but it still loads all CD-based games.
