I have not seen anyone else talking about this so I wanted to post it to help everyone out that does not want to open their 360 up and use the 360 drive all the time to backup their games also for the people that do not wanna use a normal DVD Rom drive and do a swap method each time. I was recently looking to buy a new Xbox DVD-ROM drive and found this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827136083 and this adapter: http://www.xbox8164adapter.com/. I know you prolly saying how does this help me out. Well if ya download the firmware for the 8164 Drive from the xbox8164adapter website it still works in your PC but with an incredible advantage. It reads ALL media and acts just like a 360 DVD-ROM drive it will allow you to extract your 360 games in ISOBuster! It will see the disc! Only thing is no SS extraction but this is a major advantage. I am still awaiting the adapter to make this my xbox drive But I thought all that dont wanna leave 360 open and have to keep undoing the 360 drive would like to know. Check it out!
