Well sucessfully backed up my first dvd but i only got sound to come out one speaker... i used dvd shrink what setting on the audio do i need... keep checked..... well any ideas to be helpful thanks peace

Your options on the audio are really only 2ch and 6ch AC£. Realisticly you should keep both when compressing, although 2ch at around 200MB can sometimes be left out. Did you play a normal DVD on the system that you tested your back-up on, so as to ascertain whether it is a problem with the system or the DVD R.

I recently used DVD Shrink on an awkward DVD & after choosing AC3 6CH audio like I would always do w/ DVD2One.
The audio that came out was 5.1 instead of Dolby Digital (with perhaps an option for 5.1)

Therefore I would probably suggest you take AC3 2CH unless you have 5.1 decoder etc...

Herbsman, you didnt happen to be a teenager during the 60's did ya?
Yeah, only take the 6ch AC3 sound if you only ever use 6 channels. Take both most of the time. Its only another 200MB for stereo most of the time. most people can live with that!

I wasn't even a twinkle in my fathers eye at any point during the sixties no...lol

If it's to the reference peace , then I'll drop the dictionary term for you ...used interjectionally to ask for silence or calm or as a greeting or farewell

P.S. I'll be taking AC3 6CH & AC3 2CH in DVD Shrink 2.3 from now on
