corrupt memory card?

when i tried to save mortal kombat shoalin monks it said corrupt data, i kept deleting and resaving but same error message, so i thought it was the game, so i didnt save it then when i inserted jak and daxter 1 it said cannot save and i realised it was the memory card as jak and daxter would work on my old memory card, what solutions are there to this problem and what is the original problem, as i do not have a clue what is happening, are the memory cards region locked, as the 2 games are NTSC i have a max memory 64MB memory card? any help would be appreciated

Third party memory cards are not as good as the official sony memory card (has better quality). That may be your problem. I think that some games do not work on that type of memory card. I'm not exactly sure though. But sometimes sony memory cards get corrupted data as well and I'm not sure what that is from (luckily I only lost 4 or 5 files).
