I just bought a 100 pack of brand new Verbs sealed for $33, in 2 50 packs. DVD Decrypter and DVD Identifier identify them as MCC, I know what MCC is, Mitsubishi, and also the best, if not arguably the best between them and TY.
Is there anyway to find out if my Verbs are fully real?, because I've heard the media code can be faked.
Btw, if anyone is suspicious about the price, I bought em from someone who buys in bulk, so yea.
If yall wanted to know, on the hub, it says Verbatim at the top of the hub and the bottom it says DVD+R 16X. Plus it has some numbers and letters on the hub too, the sliver part, the numbers are kinda blended in with it, but I can still read them.

As for the price, I can buy 100 disc spindles of those Verbs at Sams year round for about the same price...they are on sale at Best Buy this week $14.99 for 50 pack spindles so the price doesn't bother me. Why would you think that they are fake, are you getting some bad results?
Nope, it's just I wanted to make sure. I just burnt one with with a ton of DBZ episodes and it reads them all off of it. I just wanted to make sure, although I was pretty sure they were real, just wanted to check and be 100% sure.

Well if they are made by Verbatim and they code out MCC I would think you have nothing to worry about. It would be a different story if it was an off brand coding out MCC. Why would Verbatim fake their own DVDs?

ya and its so noticable when u open them up as well were the fake ones are usally carboard on the inner side and the real ones have the white serface and the fake ones have a lighter print them the real ones that is amazing i would call that a media copycat and on another note i dont buy verbs unless im sawing off one of my limbs as payment if i dont pay relitivly high price of em i stay away
