right im really close to giving up now as i have been trying to flash my 360 for ages now i got the right sata card but its not in my bios for some stringe reason so i carnt switch it from raid to non raid so i dont no if this is the problem but i have had ronnie101 helping me out and i also have hedxs my mtkflash my self some times i got carnt reed drive and tha and some othere times i get my sata card up and i chose via 6421 chip set and i click on it then i get this message

sst(sst39sf020)
err: fails to open

so if any 1 can help me out on this so i can finally flash my 360 would be good as my hd is full

ps my hd is on a sata to mobo but i all ways unplug it

You can't just use the SATA on your motherboard? That with an add-on card as well might be causing the problem. Try disabling the onboard sata.

if i disable the onboard sata my comp wont boot up but since its only going to dos not windows it might work ill give it a try tho and let ya no

lol i told you to get the non- raid to save touble!

return it and get a non raid and get $4 back too and fix your issue!
