Look for discs made in Japan. Fuji and Sony.

I believe that TY sells disc under the "Deal" brand name.

Singapore Verbs were DL only, as stated look for media made in Japan...the Japanese Verbs should be TY as well as some of the Sony, don't know if TY has made DVD's for Fuji though.

well spotted that man; i'll edit my previous post accordingly..
in fact i've removed it altogether as it was irrelevant as original poster was looking at TY. was trying to suggest Verbs as an alternative but i lost the post :)

Singapore makes Dual Layer Verbs but original poster wants TY (and single layer i presume)..as you were people...

Japanese Fuji 8X +R's coded out to TY's....Yuden000T02, just like the Sonys MIJ.

Fuji MIJ were fairly rare, but I did manage to find some.

Good to know...I'm sure that the 8X flavored ones are even harder to find now.

sorry yes Verbs is my shortening of Verbatim

Verbatim do indeed use some TY, however they are like gold dust; we lucky people in UK get them now and then but only for a while then they disappear again. In the USA they haven't seen any of the different types of 'Verbatim TY'.
