HI and yes ive left it over night twice without any joy, ive reset it many times and still no joy.

Should i upgrade the firmware to try and sort it or downgrade it? as one of the 2 must fix it?

It also has no writing on the inside of the umd tray which makes it downgradable.

Any other options?? could i re load a 2.6 eboot file???

I brought it second hand and have no idea whether it had its flash mucked about with or not?

Any advice would be good?

Thanks

Well a 2.6 PSP is worth alot more. Do you have a TA-082? If not you can downgrade and your PSP will most likely work and be worth alot more.

Im sure its not a T version.

I have downloaded the auto downgrader and im waiting for a friend to drop off GTA.

My only concern is that it still wont fix the problem.

Why not upgrade? surely it over writes everything which means it will work again as the problem is with the flash????

Thanks

actually i think the downgrader flashes more stuff than a 2.7 update would.

Since it's 2nd hand..most probably the owner done something that brick some part of the psp. If it's still under warranty maybe you could send in for replacement or downgrade like what other suggest.

I'm guessing your psp is probably "bricked" in a sense. Downgrading is your best hope I guess. Or you may bring ur psp to a local psp repair store to check out the prob.
