You asked how to turn it into 2 dvds and LOCOENG was nice enough to show you how to shrink it down to fit on one (why would you want to change discs in the middle of the program?).

The link
http://www.ripit4me.org/

has it in there. DVD Shrink!!!
Heres more links to help you use it.

dannydag,
Programs that will compress that episodic DVD to fit a DVD-5
DVDShrink
CloneDVD
DVD-Rebuilder
DVD95Copy
There are more but you can start w/ the above. The best there is DVD-RB and there is a free version.

You have to rip the files to the HD first then use the programs.

Below are guides you can use:

If you really want to make 2 discs then use VobBlanker:

Sorry I misread you original post, the VobBlanker guide is a little advanced...here is an easier method.

http://dvdshrink.info/splitting-v2-3.php

You will still need to rip your disc to HDD using one of the methods that I posted earlier.

Now I know!!! LOL
The DVD Shrink link LOCOENG posted is a great guide,
I think It might even be easier with an disc of episodes than a single movie, because when you reauthor it should show all 24 episodes, so choose the first 12 for one disc and the others for the other.
So in short,
1. get the whole movie on your hard drive a way that was given
2. open shrink, find the original file
3. reauthor using guides given

What do you not understand or where are you having a problem?

Are you wanting the Disk on 1 or 2 DVD's as you have stated both?

Are you sure you have a DVD burner and not a cd burner/DVD-Rom?
