Anyone know a Pioneer DVD-ROM that rips as fast as DVR-105?

My DVR-105 rips a movie DVD in about 15 minutes with DVD Decrypter (w/ a firmware hack).
I bought a Teac DV-516E, which is supposed to really be a Pioneer (a 500M, I think), but it takes twice as long to do the job.
Does anyone know a Pioneer DVD-ROM model that reads/rips DVDs like the 105 does?

My Lite On DVD-Rom would take about 45 minutes to rip an average DVD(using DVD Decryptor on WinXP). I installed the ASPI from dvddecryptor.com and went into the I/O settings and chose SPTI - NT/2000/XP/SERVER 2003. Since then my Lite On has been ripping in UNDER 15 minutes, more like 12 - 14 minutes... Used to rip at no more than 2x, and now jumps to 7 - 11x...

Which ASPI do you mean? Adaptec, Nero, VOB?

I checked...of course you mean the Adaptec ASPI. I have 4.71 and the newer one is 4.71.2. I'll try it like you did and see if there's any change...thanks for the tip!

Yes Adaptec... I hope it works out... Also you might want to check your ATA controller in your device manager and make sure your DVD-rom (and burner) is on ULTRA DMA and not on PIO ONLY...
