Hope this is the right place....

I have set up my new Tosh DR3 and my Panny VHS recorder as per the Tosh manual. With the VHS last in line, then the DVD recorder, then the TV. However, when I play a VHS tape nothing happens on the TV. There is no video pass thru. If I reverse the order with the DVD recorder last in line, then VHS, then TV everything works OK. I can play DVDs, Videos...no problem. Except the DVD recorder does not record whats playing on the VHS. there are no settings for the scart sockets on the Tosh. There is on the VHS but I'm sure thats not the problem as the output from the VHS is there if I plug it in direct to the TV. I get a clear picture.

It seems obvious that the in scart in on the Tosh is faulty to me. As if I use nothing but jack leads and avoid scarts it records fine but then I am not using my Macrovision scart lead and any old shop bought videos are not copied.

Anyone any ideas if my explanation is clear ?
