Well this is what happens...after a lot of reboots caused by electrical power malfunctions my Windows 2003 stops loading...y gets freeze and reboots after the Windows Logo Screen.....I try to fix my boot y my MBR but nothing works it stills rebooting.....

Then I decided to reinstall the OS, but I have a BIG, not a HUGE problem I dont remember my CD key and It doesn have impress because its a volume License that I purchased on my College....because of this I decided to get a serial from Internet (WRONG????), i get a lot of them but the problem is that I tried almost 20 (I reinstall every time), but none works....I mean work partially because I can reinstall but when I tried to update to SP1....it shows me a Mesagge that tolds me ....that I can't upgrade because of my serial number....

So I want to know if there's is anyway to get my Win 2003 Installation serial key from a console or from a LINUX live CD or anyway that wont involve installing a software, besides if I install another windows on other partition any of that software colu podibly give me my serial KEY???

I really apreciate any HELP!!!

What ever you do, please don't rely on keys you find on the net. They are more trouble then they are worth.

If you can boot to safe mode, use WinKey Finder to get your key back.

OK so i dont use....ut i cant even boot on safe mode or simbol system......

so I take my HD to a friends house and run a SCANDISK on it and whe I return to my house it works!!!

I dont know for how long but is there any other way to fix it??

I use the winkey and I was able to gete my lost install key THX

Problem solved, but for how long would my WIN works??
