I thought that only the DATA LIFE PLUS version of Verbatim dvds were considered to be good media- have I been misinformed?

I've never seen the data life plus version of verbatims in a Best Buy store. I've only seen them available online at sites like supermedia, etc.

data life is considered teh best in Verbatims.

man 25 for $7 is $30 for 100. not bad, but could be better as DVDs are droping( ie teh $26 /100 sony sale at BB)

Verbatim is one of the best brands. But it seems to me the DataLife designation is being or has been phased out. I know some places still carry that line although in an unbranded form. I have an email placed with corporate in Charlotte about that and I'll post when I get confirmation.

Keep on burning! Verbatim will not let you down. BTW, it looks like their DLs are dropping in price too. You can get them from many places now in the $1.50-$1.75 range.
