Ordered a 50 pack of Accu DVD-R from cdrdvdrmedia (aka Meritline). They charged my credit card the day after I placed my order but it took them over 1 week to ship my merchandise. The last 10 dvd's (bottom of the spindle) were unusable. Of the other 40 I made 8 coasters (all towards the bottom of the spindle.).
It took me about 3 weeks to get to the bottom of the spindle which if when I had my unpleasant surprise about the last 10 being defective.
I contacted CDRDVDRMEDIA (aka meritline and EZlabel) and requested an RMA. I was informed that I had exceeded the 30 day return policy since they count the day I placed the order as day 1 (even though I did not receive the merchandise until 10 days after I placed my order and my credit card was charged).
I sent them back an email re-explaining the situation and making sure they understood it was not a question of the money since we were only talking about $10. It was integrity and customer satisfation.
They have ignored my correspondance. Needless to say I will not be doing business with CDRDVDRMEDIA, Meriltine or EZlabel) or buying anymore Accu media.
I read in a forum about the Samsung Beall media. It is more expensive but I have gone though an entire 50 pack with no coasters being made or freezes, skips etc... I purchased these from CDROM2GO.com
I was thinking of trying the USDigitalMedia brand but have read mixed messages. Any personal experince would be appreciated.
Could anyone tell me of other reputable places to purchase blank DVD's on line?
Also could anyone recommend some inexpensive DVD-R 4x media.
