I somehow jammed my ps2 tray and can't fix it. I ripped the tray out, but broke it. I bought a new one and tried to align it correctly, but it didn't work. So I just put it back in the normal position, but if I press the eject button, it'll get jammed. So I bought a flip top cover since I thought it would fix everything.

My ps2 plays original games flawlessly, but I have problems playing certain burnt games. I thought it was the CD itself at first, but it wasn't. I have about 30 games burnt all on the same brand CD's and the ones that don't work are the JAPANESE NTSC version. It lags when I play. It takes forever to load! NTSC and PAL burnt games work, but the JAP ones don't... What's the problem here?

P.S: All the games have worked prior to jamming the tray/installing the flip top cover. I might have turned the gear where it rises the lens when I was trying to align my cd tray. And one more thing, can someone help me align my cd tray properly? Thanks.

Under the tray, there is a white gear, that moves left and right, this releases the tray and locks it too, what you need to do is move it all the way to the left, then insert the tray and it will work properly. If it doesnt lag with all the games then it cant really be a ps2 problem, what mod are you using? what brand cd's? and what speed do you burn at?
