Back up games on non chipped console

Hey peeps.

ive never posted here before! I remember seeing a guide somewhere before on how to play a back up ps2 game on a ps2 thats not chipped, and it involves removing the front of the disc tray, and buying a certain cheap game to insert first.

Can anyone tell me how to do it or give me a link to a guide.

IF this is illegal or anything mods then sorry, i didnt know. I just need to no.

Erm, i dont really understand :S

Whats a slide card and where do i get one lol, and how do i use it. The site doesnt explain much, the link in the middle brings me back to the same page lol.

If you could explain more it would be great, or if anyone knows more about the way i said....

A slide card is a tool which you can buy along with Swap Magic.

Thats awesome. The info was for my mate but im thinking of buying a ps2 again now lol!

you reckong they willbe able to do things liek that with the ps3?

Oh yeh i wont be able to backup ps3 games they are on blu ray discz....

At least, I think will be possible to play ps2 backups on ps3.
As it will read ps2 and psx games, I think the Swap Magic will work.
They will discover a new ways to backup games , like multi dvd , instead of blue ray.
And in a short time BR recorders should be cheap (I think).
