Is it possible to put a hitachi key in to a samsung dvd drive?

im not sure but a key is a key and i think its ok

I got 2 360's, both drives are broke i think.

i cant get the hitachi drive to work in windows but i can get the the samsung to work in dos, the samsung drive seems to accept flashes when i try but still wont work, when plugged back in to the 360 the powe light flashes and the drives tray opens..
