thanks,i have no screws in this flip top though.its all plastic.
i am hoping to be able to raise the whole disc drive slightly.but i am a little unsure how.
Did you put the little, round white plastic disc support, that sits above the drive tray, from your old lid into the fliptop?
And, it may all be plastic, but it still needs screws to fix to the bottom section of your PS2, otherwise the lid would come off when you pick up the PS2. You just use the screws that you took out of your old lid.
thanks,but i meant the small cirle that holds the white plastic disc has no screws inside.thats what usually stops the cd from slipping,but in this instance,it only stops the disc from slipping if you press on the lid.
