I had my ps2 for about a year now, and its been modded. However, what i noticed over the year is that the controller vibrator doesnt work whenever i play a game with vibration function on. Even bought a new controller to see if it was a controller problem or the ps2 itself. Found same problem with new one. Next problem is the wireless. I bought a wireless dance pad some time ago, two of them infact. 1 used and 1 new. Both wireless recievers were not recieving power from the ps2. So im positive my ps2 is broken somewhere inside. What i need to know is exactly what diode/conductor/chip/etc... allows for these functions.

P.S. When first installed modchip, ps2 disktray would not close properly (as in i press open, it opens, press the button again, it does not close automatically, had to be pushed in manually, but 2 days after that, it magically worked like normal) just to let you know that forsure the ps2 was messed up somewhere.

help would be greatly appreciated (and vibration did work when i bought it from my friend)

check your ribbon cables for damage/not fully plugged in (especially the joypad one)

The joypad ribbon tend to break eaisly. U should also check your fuses with a multimeter.
