Need help reformatting my ps2 hdd

I play ffxi and needed to swtich my hdd from 1 ps2 to another. When I try to play I get a DNAS error and I can't play. When first having these problems I found out that it was required to reformat the drive. I cannot find my utility disc to do that so from reading forums I found a utility called winhiip which I tried to use to make it work but getting a new DNAS error now. Is there any utility I can use to basically format my ps2 hard drive with the default "drive structure"?

You need the sony disc (which you lost), i'm not sure if you can use a burnt copy of the disc, but it might be worth a shot.
