I have an Xbox360 in the bedroom and one in the livin room, I would like to burn a back up copy of the games I already own in order to be able to play them on Xbox Live with my other family members. I have AnyDVD and clone dvd. Can anyone please tell me step by step how to burn a back up copy of a disc already owned? And please, feel free to go step by step and talk to me like I ride the short bus :) I'm kinda new at the whole xbox360 thing. Thank you so much in advance.
1- You need to modify the firmware of your Xbox360.
2- Like you said, you'll be ripping your originals
so there's 2 ways to do that:
a-From your Xbox360's drive.
b-With an internal DVD-R (DL capable of course)
which you need to open up follow a procedure.
3- With either step you follow on 2, you still have to get
the SS, the PFI and the DMI for the DVD to work.
4- Then compile it all in an iso to burn with Clone CD
(not clone dvd)
What have you done ?
Oh by the way, we CANNOT tell you where to get the firmware or SS files, because of forum rules, you if you plan on doing this, it's going to take a lot of time and work, since, by the way, you have to get a PCI SATA (unless you have a compatible onboard SATA motherboard) and you'll have to open up your xbox360 which will screw up your warranty.
So make sure you want to do this before beggining.
LOL....I need something. I need someone with enough brains and b*lls to do this for me, because I think I'm lacking both. But hey, on the other side....I can save someone's life without even thinking twice(nurse). But that doesnt seem to be helping me with this.
