HDD game & Code Breaker v9.0 Will it work?

I have GTA:SA on my HDD and I have the real disc's for Code Breaker v9.0 and HDLoader. I read on this forum that after you select the cheats, pop in the HDLoader disc instead of the game and go to the game in HDLoader. This doesn't work for me. I just want to get my code breaker cheats to work on the game on my HD. can someone 'splain to me how to do it? (if its possable)

I used the same exact procedure you just said on kingdom hearts 2 and it works fine.
