Hi, just like to share my modding story, I have chipped around 30 consoles (xb0x & PS). I had just finished installing Aladdin SuLi in an xb0x, I booted it up to test, "great it's all good, but whats going on the controller's not functioning??". I thought maybe some solder splash or a bridged join on resitors, that's near the conroller port. Disassembling and reassembling over and over again check with eyeglass at every track, every join. Whats going on????
I noticed a slight distortion on the lead of the controller, I squeezed it between my fingers.... you guessed it! dud controller lead! did I feel like a dick :)
Anyway, always check the obvious!!!
