MagicKeys II: Tool 3 broke ? What to do ?

I installed the first two tools fine, then came tool 3.

No matter how much i tried. It wouldn't work. Eventually the paste wore off of it from about an hour of trying. Then finally after tweaking the steel into different positions, the cd started spinning but of course it wouldn't stay down.

When i removed my finger, it would stop because the paste wore off.

Then i tried to glue it down. I was attempting to remove it and the tool broke in two at the section where it bends.


What do i do now ?

The same thing happened to me,but you dont have to remove the under paste cover off.First of all,you have to put the tool in correctley.What i did was putting the end of the tool to the most part of the left near the hole where you have to put it too,(use some force),then you have to put it in diffrent places to see where the sensor is at and when your disk starts to spin,and after that,try to put the tool at that same place when your disk started to spin but make sure that the tool will stay in its place and not fall out.Dont remove the paste cover beacause you will lose your place and have to redo it all overe again,as for your the broken tool,your best option is to buy the tool again because if its bend you wont know at what angle it is at,it probably cost like 3$.And never remove the tools out of the hole becausewhen you remove it,its much harder and more riskier.Good Luck
