I decided to start a new thread on this one so it would be easy to spot for those of you with a question about it.

I just got a written confirmation from Verbatim's Corporate office, that the DataLife/DataLife Names have been dropped from their product line. You still may find some of those still on shelves, and available from online merchants, but they will be older stock. However, the Verbatim quality still remains high and you should not be afraid to go ahead and get it. Bottom line, Verbatim is a well trusted name.

Hope this clears it up.

Still have too many TY T02s to burn before I even get to the 400 datalife verbs I have. Yeah let's hope quality doesn't suffer.

Yeah now i'm using Verb and no problem at all. It's simply the best mostly when it's the Sexy Taiyo Verb(Creaky will agree with me on that)But i have to say something.Beware about fake verbatim,i've came across some, they say made in taiwan and when check the media Id it says TYG002 which normally means that they are made in japan but how explain that on the packaging it's written made in taiwan and on the inner hub on the dvd there's no sighn of the CG00xxxx code, but instead it's written Verbatim everywhere on it.So it has to be FAKE verbatim.

I just finished my like 300 batch of TYs. I'm about to start on my next batch of Verbatim (I think I have about 250).

I use TY and Verbatim in alternating bunches lol.
