hi , i am updating my 1.54 to 1.88... but it says 'programming failed' everytime... does anybody know how to fix this? my matrix infity is real and it boots up backed up games

You mean the PS2 says programming failed? Did you burn the bin file for the new firmware correctly?

Could be a few different things.
