Hi I'm planning to flash my Toshiba drive to play backups. I noticed that most the games on newsgroups are PAL, I have an NTSC xbox. I was wondering if I can play PAL backups on my xbox? If so, is there any extra steps I have to take to make them work? Thanks a bunch.

Some of them, only the ones that are region free. There was a guide on which were region free, but it got deleted.

Thanks a bunch for the reply. I have one more question. Everyone recommends Verbatamin dvd media unfortunatly non of the stores near me carry it. How does Philips DVD+R DL compare? Because it was on sale for $30 (Can.) for a 25 spindle. Is this a good deal?

I have used Verbatrims, they are the best i've used.

I tried Phillips once, they worked fine.
Just don't get Memorex >.<
