I'm not positive if this goes here or not but i'm not very tech savvy and don't know what a lot of this stuff is. So anyway i just bought a bunch of movies for a couple bucks each off some website. the problem is they are taking up tons of space and they get deleted after 7 days. i figured i'd just burn them on to a blank cd since they only range from about 140 to 240mb apiece. so i burned the first two movies no problem. after that though for some reason now it just won't work and i really need to get them burned so i can get them off my comp and free up space to watch the rest of them. i'm not sure if there is some licensing thing involved here and if so if there is a way around it. i've tried tons of different programs which either start the burn and finish a second later saying the burn was completed with errors, which means nothing happened, or it won't even start. i'd really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out how to get these burned onto a disc so not only can i have them to own but also can also watch the rest of them.

Without more information its hard to say exactly what the problem is. There could be some sort of limitation on how many you can burn, but it should have stated that on the download site. Try burning each movie as a data file transfer. Use the copy/paste feature and see if that works.

well i believe i found the problem. i happened to glance at the new discs i was using and saw it says DVD-R instead of cd-r. i got some new cd-rs that seem to work now. but on a side note can someone tell me what a DVD+R disc is for?

DVD +R and DVD -R are just 2 different media formats. -R are usually more compatible with older players. No difference in amount of data they hold. What you use depends on what burner you have and what your players can handle. Most newer burners and players can handle both formats.
