I have read many tutorials and i got this far but now stuck trying to connect my xbox to pc.. in the settings on evo dash it see's the network card but not stating an ip... iv'e read previous post saying type cmd and ping the ip but im getting (request timed out)
im using slayers settings which are..

setup network : yes
use static ip: no
ip 192.168.1.200
subnetmask 255.255.255.0
deafult gateway 192.168.1.1
dns 0.0.0.0

The settings you have will work great if you're using a switch in between your xbox and your PC. If you're doing a direct link, you'll have to use static ip's to connect. Also check the cable type, straight-through if you're going through a hub/router/switch and crossover if you're going straight from xbox to computer.
