Ok fellas so here it is.
Ive Installed Zone Alarm 6.5.731
Now I have ICQ (IM Service) installed on my computer,
and I deny it access to the Internet Because who ever is using on my computer shouldn't be. I even went into the program control properties and Bloced all access. Now the thing is this, I think that the person uninstalls the progeam and installs it again to get it to work.

So here's the Question...
Is there anyway I can stop this from this from happening?
Is there anyway I can stop this program from ever being installed again on my computer?

Thanx

If you have your account setup as Computer Admin. from that go to user acounts and create another one or turn on the guest account and from your admin account fix the settings so that it can not be altered within the guest account.

Also password protect your account.

I personally am not sure but i vaguley remember Zone Alarm having a password protection option soo u may be able to activate that when ur not using the computer and when u use it just put in the password and that should give u full access. But im not 100% sure doo some reading first. I would just go with the user account option but that me.

Yeah, ZoneAlarm has password protection. Although, I'm using ZoneAlarm Pro, I think the free edition has it also.

Open ZoneAlarm.
Click Overview.
Click the Preferences tab.
Under password click Set password.

Do you need a firewall (ZoneAlarm) if you have a router?

I am having issues with Zone Alarm vs Microsoft Outlook 2003 on my new pc.
Email errors out trying to connect to the server. If I turn off ZomeAlarm Outlook works. When ZoneAlarm runs I have to try to download email several times before it will work. I had the same setup on my old pc and it worked fine. Any idea what the issue is?

Open program controll in ZA and allow Microsoft Outlook access to the network and whatever else it may need, its safe to tick all of the entrys on this program (act as a server, etc), its been a while since I used ZA, but thats how you do it :-)

Right click its entry and select the tick icon, Outlook should be able to function correctly after that, if not, its probably not ZA thats casuing it.
