21 day free trial is pretty specific. What other way would there be to get it besides pay for it? Just fork over the cash it's the best program out there.

If it were me again, I'd still buy AnyDVD unless I didn't have the money. I like the ease with which it lets me backup movies with DVD Clone. Of course, if I didn't have any cash, the free way is just as good and I don't notice any difference between quality of the 2 discs.

Anydvd/CloneDVD2 best one-2 punch against SOme compaNY and their idea of protection (ARCCOS), updated frequently and strategically.
Best free alternative, Ripit4me and DVD Shrink, IMGBurn.

in days past I used the free programs....... and with RipIt4Me it even got better, but I want to assure you that AnyDVD is a great product and I use it often, along with my other FREE PROGRAMS and my others that aren't free! there is nothing I can't handle and I get great quality to boot. Looks great on my big screen and when I do a zoom in.... you can't tell the diff!

For some reason before i brought AnyDVD after the trial would run out i would uninstall it and after another 30 days i could reinstall the trail version after maybe 1 update. I dont know if it will still work but i wound up buying it and love it. I used AnyDVD and DVD Shrink and img burn. The only problem i had once was ripping a movies to the hard drive i check off remove unreferenced and bank cell and for some reason DVD Shrink didnt recognize the movie. i reripped it with that box uncheck and it worked. Cant remember what movies it was

I too would agree with 300bowler but I guess it depends on if you have the time to run the various applications.
I use dvdfab, VobBlanker and shrink and the time taken is of no issue. However, if I were pushed to a time limit, then having read the many threads on AnyDVD all with positive views, I would probably consider this method.

It's true that AnyDVD is not entirely necessary--there are free programs that do work. But AnyDVD is so damn strong and so damn easy. Plus, it's not like it's expensive. I know some people don't work or whatever, but the cost of the program is a little more than the cost of a 100 pack of DVDs.
It's well worth the money. It's updated very frequently, super easy to use, and you have free updates for life. You can't complain!

quote."TRIAL ENDED ON "ANY DVD"". well, it seemes that it is time to buy it.
Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

I don't use it often but when I do it's always reliable and never a problem! I can't say enough about AnyDVD! I don't need CloneCD..... I use Nero. sorry I didn't have the Nero StartSmart icon in with the other programs. I'm sure CloneCD is a good program..... love CloneDVD.... so the other Elby programs should be good, too.
As far as learning all the programs.... that was the easy part...... I belong to Afterdawn...... taught me everything I need to know!

300 what would you recommend to use better ?
1. DVD FabDecrypter, w/ VobBlanker & Shrink
or
2. RipIt4Me, w/ FixVTS & Shrink
I've tried the 2nd but it seems like alot & couldn't really figure it out.
I've seen the guide by Alkohol, using the first combo. Looks easier.
AMD Phenom II X4 3.2Ghz
16GB memory
1TB HDD
AnyDVD & CloneDVD

@ dabig25,
Well, they both are great combos, cant go wrong with either of them, but i prefer the DVDFab>VobBlanker, combo just becuz i like to blank out unwanted stuff on the dvd, also both guides are great, and i remember i used Alkohols guide for VoBlanker for my first time using the program, and after about 1 time didn't need it anymore.
Even though VobBlanker looks complicated it couldn't be simplier to use.

RipIt4Me can seem like a daunting task, but once you've got the hang of the process it's easy as buttering toast.
